“Study of Equilateral Dimensions”

“Study of Equilateral Dimensions” 2014

Pencil, black tea, walnut ink on paper. Compass and straightedge geometric construction done by hand.

This geometric study begins with simple equilateral triangles that slowly elevate themselves into higher dimensions. They join into what looks like a sphere; but as you look closer, you notice there are no actual curves, only straight lines.
